  1. APPLYING MASK: Apply provided mask to design if it is not already applied (sometimes if there are small pieces on the design I will go ahead and apply it to help with loss of pieces during shipping). First you will remove the white backer from the mask sheet provided to you which should leave you with a clear sticky film. The best way to apply the sticky mask is to lay the design face up on a flat surface, then take the sticky mask and hold both sides up sticky side out (should be shaped like a taco). The middle should be hanging the lowest and you will slowly place the middle down onto the middle of the design and slowly release it down completely to the edge. You will need to be sure you start in the middle of the design so you have enough mask to cover the entire design. This masking process helps to reduce air bubbles that will need to be removed later. Now use a credit card or squeegee to adhere the design to the mask and remove air bubbles. Start on an edge and slowly pull mask and design from the backer sheet. If parts of the design are not adhering to the cover sheet, lay mask back down over the area and squeegee it again with more pressure until the design adheres. I have occasionally had a piece that was very difficult to get to adhere and so I have found that starting to peel from a different edge/angle helps.

  2. PRESSING DESIGN ONTO FABRIC: Preheat the garment for 2-3 seconds at 300-315 degrees F to remove the moisture from the garment. Apply the design face up onto the garment and press at 300-315 degrees F for 20 seconds with med/high pressure.. (Some like to do a 2nd press for a few seconds without the mask). Peel off mask while garment is still warm. Place mask back on white backer sheet as this is reusable and only one is sent per order. You can continue to use this mask until it is not sticky any longer. If design does not adhere correctly, the edges may peel so it is very important to get the proper adhesion. If you do notice an edge coming up, repress for a few more seconds with a little heavier pressure than you previously used.

  3. WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: Wait 24 hours before first washing. Turn garment inside out. Machine wash WARM with mild detergent. NO bleach. Dry at a normal dryer setting on household machines. Do not dry clean. Instructions apply to the material only, please follow garment washing instructions as well.
